Barricaded Burglary Suspect Captured in Hollywood Hills
After a standoff that closed down a freeway offramp, police arrested a Hollywood Hills home burglary suspect.

A burglary suspect barricaded himself in a home in the Hollywood Hills for about three hours today before being taken into custody.
The break-in was reported about 10:10 a.m. in the 6800 block of Alta Loma Terrace, police said. Residents of the area said they heard screaming and called police.
Police surrounded the residence but the man, believed to be a transient, refused to come out, said Los Angeles police Officer Liliana Preciado. A SWAT team was ultimately called when the residents of the home said there was a firearm inside.
