Saddleridge Fire Road Closures
The massive Saddleridge Fire forced road closures from the San Diego (405) to the Foothill (210) freeways.

LOS ANGELES, CA — As more than 100,000 were forced to flee the catastrophic Saddleridge Fire Friday, they faced a gauntlet of road closures.
By 11:30 a.m. Friday, the CHP had reopened a section of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway that had been closed, but a myriad of other freeways from the San Diego (405) to the Foothill (210)remained shutdown. By 8 p.m. Friday, all the northbound and southbound lanes of the Golden State (5) Freeway were re-opened in the Sylmar area along with the northbound San Diego (405) Freeway at the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, according to Caltrans,
Saddleridge Road Closures:
- the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Newhall Avenue;
- the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway at the Ronald Reagan Freeway;
- the eastbound Foothill Freeway at the Golden State Freeway;
- the southbound Golden State Freeway connector ramp to the eastbound Foothill Freeway;
- the eastbound Ronald Reagan Freeway connector ramps to the westbound Foothill Freeway
- the northbound San Diego Freeway.
