BURBANK, CA — Discount airline Spirit announced Wednesday it will begin offering a nonstop daily flight between Hollywood Burbank Airport and Seattle- Tacoma International Airport, beginning June 10. The start of the new service will mark one year since the no-frills carrier began offering flights between Burbank and Las Vegas. "We are pleased that Spirit Airlines is adding another city from Burbank," Frank Miller, executive director of Hollywood Burbank Airport, said in a statement. "Seattle-Tacoma Airport is a leader in moving people and cargo across the country and around the world, and we welcome Spirit Airlines and its daily flight to Seattle." According to Spirit's website, the daily nonstop flight will depart Burbank at 9:55 a.m., with seats available starting at about $165 for the one- way trip.
