For the second time in two days, the LAPD bomb squad searched Grant High School in response to an online threat: Breaking.
LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles Police Department Bomb Squad searched the Grant High School early Tuesday morning following a bomb threat made via social media. It's the second day in a row that the school was threatened.
The campus in the 13000 block of Oxnard Street was placed on lockdown Monday for several hours after a threat was made online, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. A teenager was detained and questioned in the Monday incident, and police deemed it a hoax, according to the LAPD.
On Tuesday, authorities searched the campus, declaring it safe before students arrived for the school day, the LAPD reported. The threat apparently was made via Instagram.
