Tuesday

Jazz group the Silver Lake Trio will play their free weekly show starting at 8 p.m. at Bob's Espresso Bar. 5251 Lankershim Blvd.

It's open mic night for aspiring and amateur comedians at The Other Door bar from 7-11 p.m. 10437 Burbank Blvd.

NoHo resident and pianist Randy Emata will be performing in the back lounge of the Federal Bar. He specializes in playing the smoother groovier side of jazz/R&B/pop along with Michael Reason on drums and William Matthew Taylor on bass. Show is free and starts at 8 p.m. 5303 Lankershim Blvd.

Wednesday

The Burbank Community YMCA is proud to invite you to a 90-minute presentation by Pattie Fitzgerald called "An Ounce of Prevention." She's a certified child safety educator who has been featured on ABC World News, CNN and Good Morning America. Event is at 7 p.m. at 332 E.
