Fire Damages 2-Story Home In Northridge
No one was hurt in the blaze that remained under investigation Thursday.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Fire damaged a two-story home in Northridge Thursday, but firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading.
Firefighters were called to the home near the intersection of Osborne Street and Chimineas Avenue, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. They found flames on the first floor, and put out the fire before it could spread beyond the room of origin, according to the LAFD.
It was quickly extinguished without injury, LAFD reported.

Further details were not immediately available. The cause of the blaze was under investigation, and authorities did not release an estimate for the damage done by the fire.
