Man Falls Almost 50 Feet At Stoney Point Park
The LAFD rescued a man in critical condition after fall in a Chatsworth park.

CHATSWORTH, CA — LAFD firefighters rescued a man who fell nearly 50 feet Sunday afternoon.
The approximately 60-year-old man fell near Stoney Point Park, around the 10800 block of Topanga Canyon Blvd. in Chatsworth around 4 p.m. on Sunday. The LAFD reported in a tweet that firefighters and air ops performed a hoist operation so that they could transport him by air to the nearest trauma center.

As of Sunday afternoon, the man was said to be in critical condition. The circumstances leading up to the fall are unknown.
