Man Wanted In Valley Hit-And-Run That Left Victim Seriously Injured

Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying the hit-and-run driver.

NORTH HILLS, CA — Authorities on Tuesday asked for the public's help identifying the driver in a hit-and-run crash that left a man severely injured.

The crash was reported at around 7:55 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Nordhoff Street in North Hills, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

An older, dark-colored Toyota Camry was traveling east on Nordhoff Street passing Sepulveda Boulevard when it struck a pedestrian, police said.

The 39-year-old man was walking inside a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision, police said.

The driver did not stop after the collision, police said.

The victim was transported a local hospital in critical condition.
