“Swing your partner, ‘round and ‘round!” The Suzuki Music Association of California (SMAC) and the Suzuki Music Program of Los Angeles (SMPLA), will hold its Fall Festival Benefit Concert and Silent Auction on Sunday, October 4th, 2:30 – 4:00 pm, at Forest Lawn in Glendale, 1217 S. This year’s Fall Festival will feature a delightful “Suzuki Square Dance” as students join with a professional square dance caller and fiddler for “family fun” square dancing with parents, teachers, and other guests of all ages. All adults and children are invited to attend. The Fall Festival Benefit Concert will also include various ensembles of students and teachers on violins, violas, cellos, basses, and guitars playing selections of classical music and fiddle arrangements.
Founded in 1974, SMPLA has instructed and inspired children throughout the extended Los Angeles area for over a half-century, bringing the joy of music and music education to literally thousands of children, hundreds of families, and multiple generations.
