And The Most Popular Southland Dog Names Are...
Once again, Bella leads the pack as the most popular name for girls, but the boy name of choice for Southland pups might surprise you.
LOS ANGELES, CA —Move over Fido, Charlie is now top dog.
The Daily Treat released it’s list of the top 10 male and female dog names, and along with the usual suspects (Bella), there are some genuine surprises such as Oliver, the fifth most common name for male dogs in Los Angeles and seventh nationwide.
In Los Angeles and the nation, Max and Bella are the leaders of the pack followed by Charlie and Lucy. However, the Los Angeles region does stray from the rest of the nation with Toby, Milo and Teddy making the top 10 list instead of Bear, Duke and Tucker. For girl dogs, Southlanders went with Coco, Chloe and Roxy instead of Sophie, Maggie and Sadie.
