Northridge Could See Winds Up To 50 Miles Per Hour
The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Northridge Thursday and Friday.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Northridge could see winds up to 50 miles per hour Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard.
NWS issued a wind advisory for Thursday at 3 a.m. until Friday at 2 p.m. Winds will generally range between 20 and 30 miles per hour but may reach as fast as 50 miles per hour.
Motorists are advised to be extra cautious as winds could blow objects into the roadway. Residents should also be prepared for power outages that could occur due to downed trees, NWS said.
