Teen Shot After High School Football Game In Granada Hills
The bleeding 17-year-old boy ran into a nearby Ralphs store for help.
GRANADA HILLS, CA — The search for a shooter who wounded a 17-year-old boy after a high school football game in Granada Hills continued Friday morning.
The wounded teen was shot Thursday night outside a Ralphs store in Granada Hills following a football game at Granada Hills Charter High School, according to authorities. The teen, bleeding from a gunshot wound to the leg, ran into the store for help, ABC7 reported.
According to the LAPD, a group of youths had been hanging out near the store after the football game, but it wasn't immediately clear if the wounded teen was a student at the school. The grocery store is located at the corner of Chatsworth Street and Zelzah Avenue next door to the high school.

The shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m, and the boy was rushed by ambulance to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was not immediately known if the boy was a student at the school. Authorities have not yet released a suspect description.
