TODAY'S PRAYER

Greetings Abba, heavenly Father; this blessed day in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Father God, let the Light of Your Son, shine through me today and Always be so into me that every person I meet may see and feel Your presence and touch their hearts to turn to You. Father, sometimes it can be so hard tostay on the right path. so many distractions are all around, trying to draw US away form You and the path You desire Us to be on.  It is knowing that, no matter how off-track I may get, You will wait for me AS I try to get back to You; that keeps the hope alive in me. 

Lord, please bless, protect and guide O Lord, Our:> Lovedones, Families, my church "Shepherd Of The Hills Campuses, its Pastors and Staffs, please also bless Our Friends, Our Life Groups Bible Study members and Others. Give Us  knowledge and wisdom to work diligently in prayer for others and as Your Holy Spirit leads Us, to wrestle earnestly in prayer on their behalves. Put special burdens on Our hearts and enable Us to pour out Our hearts love for You  to fulfill Your purposes. 

Lord, a day like today when I really sit back and take time out from my regular day to think about everything You have done for me and in my life, I find there are more things to smile about than I am able to count. Thank You for everything You have done and continue to do for me.  Thank You.

Father, There are times that I may doubt myself; when faced with so many demands being placed on me and I sometimes wonder can I handle everything; instead seeking Your will. Lord give me wisdom and strengthen my faith to trust You in all I do and say. Give me the confidence to move through You; even when I can not see the end; knowing that You do. 

I know that the evil one is constantly testing Us in various ways and sometimes I lose the confidence I need to accomplish the task before me; but thanks to Your Word and the promises therein, gives me courage to know that with You, I can face anything that comes my way and the confidence to know that through You all things are possible, therefore, I will not fail as I walk in obedience to You and the path You have laid out for me. I am so BLESSED!!! Praying for and lifting uP others who are hurting and or in need of so many different things. Please comfort and give them Your peace that only You can give and assurance that all will be taken care of if We trust, believe and keep Our faith in You.

 Lord, there are so many communication tools today at our fingertips-Computers and cell phones to name a few, that are constantly beeping and ringing and without thinking We immediately stop what We are doing to see who is calling etc. These devices are constantly interrupting Our thoughts and may cause Us to pause Our quite and intimate time; with Our full attention on You. 

The more time We spend with You, Father God; the more We will GROW in Your way and wisdom. Lord my prayer is that You Please, help Us to turn off these worldly distractions that stops Our spiritual growth so that We may experience the relationship With You We so desperately desires. For until We learn to turn them off We will be like a child. Ephesians 4:14 says we are not meant to remain as children but to grow up in every way into Christ. Father God, revive Our hearts to turn back to You and the Christ like way We were meant to be; in Jesus' precious Name. AMEN!
