Twain Fire Contained In Stevenson Ranch

Los Angeles County firefighters battled a brush fire that broke out Thursday afternoon in Stevenson Ranch.

STEVENSON RANCH, CA — Los Angeles County Fire personnel have stopped forward progress on a 3-acre brush fire in Stevenson Ranch.

A 1-acre fire was reported at 1:03 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Kavenaugh Lane and Twain Place in Stevenson Ranch, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Signal.

By 1:15 p.m., official reported that the fire had the potential to spread to 5 acres within 30 minutes, and aerial vehicles were called in.

At 1:26 p.m., forward progress was stopped, and the fire was contained to 3 acres, according to a Fire Department spokesperson.

No structures were threatened or injuries reported.
