Woman Killed In Winnetka Hit-And-Run

WINNETKA, CA — A woman was killed Wednesday morning in a hit-and-run crash, according to Los Angeles police.

The victim, an approximately 46-year-old Hispanic woman, was found lying on a roadway at the intersection of Lurline Ave. and Roscoe Blvd. in Winnetka at around 5 a.m., according to Officer William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department. Los Angeles firefighters pronounced her deceased at the scene, Cooper said.

Cooper continued that the woman appeared to have been hit by a vehicle, but no vehicles or suspects were at scene. Officers are currently canvassing the area for cameras or security camera footage.
