Man wanted for Norwalk fatal shooting (presstelegram.com) — Norwalk residents are being asked to help detectives find 23‑year‑old Erick Velasco Rodriguez, wanted in connection with a July 18 fatal shooting on Shoemaker Avenue. Investigators released his photo and the license plate of a silver Honda Civic he may be driving, and are urging anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau or Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Father On Trial In Death Of 8-Month-Old Son Says LA County Case Has 'Reasonable Doubt' (patch.com) — A high-profile child-death trial centered at the Norwalk courthouse involves a Downey father accused of fatally injuring his 8‑month‑old son, with jurors now deliberating. Prosecutors describe severe head trauma and multiple fractures, while the defendant, representing himself and appearing in military uniform, insists he’s a good father and argues there is reasonable doubt about what happened.
   

4. Public Notices Published September 24, 2026 (sanfernandosun.com) — A trustee sale is scheduled at the Doubletree Hotel Los Angeles-Norwalk on October 29, where a San Fernando property will be auctioned in the Vineyard Ballroom.
