1 Killed In Fiery Rollover Crash On Highway 101
The vehicle went off the roadway at Atherton Avenue in Novato, overturned on its roof and caught fire, according to the CHP. (BREAKING)
NOVATO, CA – One person was killed in a fiery rollover crash early Sunday morning on Highway 101 in Novato, authorities said.
The crash was first reported at 2:32 a.m. and involved a vehicle that went off the roadway at Atherton Avenue, overturned on its roof and caught fire, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Sig-alert was issued at 3:12 a.m. because the northbound lanes were blocked and traffic was diverted off the highway at Atherton Avenue. The alert was canceled at 6:11 a.m., CHP officials said.
