14-Year-Old to Visit Novato-Based Gaming Co. for His Wish; Will Become a Character in His Favorite Video Game

The Make-A-Wish foundation is helping a young boy fulfill a dream, which includes vising a Novato gaming company.

The following is a press release from Make-A-Wish Foundation:

In a handwritten letter to Make-A-Wish, Treyvon, aged 14 of Toledo, Ohio, described what he most hopes to get from a visit to Novato, CA based gaming company 2K’s headquarters.

Treyvon, who has a life-threatening blood disorder, wrote “My ultimate wish would be that my best friend and I meet with your developer and idea specialist and create together a cool game.”

According to those close to Treyvon, he is a “gamer at heart” and would like to give input to the developers and get himself in an actual game. He is also a huge fan of the NBA.

On Thursday, March 13, his wish will be coming true: during his wish, he will don a special motion-capture suit that will allow developers at 2K to build his character into his favorite NBA themed game.

Following an game audio recording session that Treyvon will have with the developers, he will have the opportunity to play the game that includes his alter ego, and will be able to share his ideas with game developers. And per his wish requests, he will be joined on his wish by his best friend, Troy.
