3 Caught Putting Skimming Device On ATM In Novato: Police

NOVATO, CA – Novato police are searching for three men who placed a skimming device on a store’s ATM last week.
Police responded to the 76 gas station on Ignacio Boulevard on Saturday after receiving a report about three men putting a suspicious device on the ATM around 9 p.m. the night before, according to the Novato Police Department.
The men attempted to distract the clerk as they installed the device on the machine, police said. The clerk later found the device, removed it and gave it to the manager.

The first two suspects were both described as having a medium, brown complexion and being in their mid-20s.
The first suspect was about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 120 pounds with a skinny build. He had short black hair and no facial hair. He was wearing a dark T-shirt, shorts, white tennis shoes and a backward baseball cap.

The second suspect was about 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 pounds with a skinny build. He had short black hair and a small mustache. He was wearing a dark T-shirt, shorts and slip-on shoes. He also had a pronounced limp and appeared to have a leg injury or artificial leg.
The third suspect, who is not pictured, was wearing a black shirt, light colored shorts and white shoes. There are no other details about the third suspect.
