5 Separate Fires Spark Along Highway 1 In Marin County
The small fires were reported along Highway 1 and Fallon Road in Tomales.
MARIN COUNTY, CA – Five separate brush fires sparked Thursday afternoon in Tomales, a census-designated place in Marin County.
The small fires were reported along Highway 1 and Fallon Road. The blazes burned about 2 to 3 acres, according to the Marin County Fire Department.
No structures were threatened and no evacuations were issued, officials said. Highway 1 was closed between Tomales and Fallon-Two Rock Road while firefighters were at the scene.

The cause of the fires were under investigation.
