What: The sixth annual Divine Wine & Food Extravaganza will once again be an extravagant experience for everyone! The event takes place in a beautiful outdoor setting and features a connoisseur lovers assortment of exclusive wines and delicious gourmet foods made fresh from a number of local restaurants. And, for the oyster lovers in the crowd, fresh local raw oysters and large shrimp will accompany the glass of champagne that’s offered as guests arrive. Topping it off, are irresistible auction items and live music and entertainment all evening. Presented by the Academy of Art University the Divine Wine & Food Extravaganza benefits the arts programs at Novato’s Marin School of the Arts.

Local restaurants who will be serving up dishes include Lighthouse, Harbor Point (broiled lamb chops); Lighthouse Corte Madera (Danish meatballs & coleslaw); Oyster Girls (fresh oysters), Boca Pizzeria (meat ball sliders); Boca Tavern (salmon mouse on toast points); Beso Bistro & Wine Bar, Il Davide (sweet potato tortellini); Piazza d’Angelo (meat and vegetarian lasagnas); Rickey’s; Manga Nosh (Chinese chicken salad); Mulberry Street Pizzaria; Seafood Peddler (large prawns); Best L’il Porkhouse (pulled pork sliders); Piatti’s Ristorante (goat cheese and tomato crostini); SusieCakes (lemon bars & mini cupcakes); and Red Whale Coffee.
A connoisseurs’ selection of fine wines will include Giesen Winery, Vin Atlas, Knights Bridge, Ten Acre, Nickel & Nickel/Far Niente, Shane Wine Cellars, Gia Domella, Keller Estate, W.H. Smith, Orin Swift, Roederer Estate, Highlands Wines, Four Cain, and Long Meadow Ranch.

Marin School of the Arts students have prepared a special evening of entertainment that will include live music by MSA’s jazz ensemble and a brief theatrical presentation by MSA drama students. Live auction items arranged through Harbor Point Charitable Foundation (HPCF) will
include exciting travel and vacation spots, wine tastings and tours, unique experiences and much more.

MSA is a Specialized Secondary Program (SSP) within a public high school offering talented and motivated students, from diverse socio-economic, cultural and geographic backgrounds, an award-winning arts education along with college prep and academic courses on par with leading private academies. Nearly 500 students come from all over the Bay Area to be part of this unique experience at Novato High School that focuses on such disciplines as cinematic arts, dance, digital arts, photography, creative writing, visual arts, instrumental and vocal music, and musical and theatre arts.
The Mission of the Harbor Point Charitable Foundation is to facilitate increased funding and awareness of adult health issues by supporting Bay Area organizations that educate, conduct research and provide help to those experiencing a health crisis. The Harbor Point Charitable Foundation also provides funding for organizations increasing the quality of life for Bay Area children through education, health care and social enrichment programs. The Harbor Point Charitable Foundation is a not for profit 501(c) 3 organization.
