$7,500​ Ring Stolen From Novato Jewelry Store

NOVATO, CA – Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a woman who allegedly stole a ring worth thousands of dollars from a Novato jewelry store. After trying on jewelry around 11:45 a.m. Monday at Gold Rush Jewelers, the woman allegedly placed a ring on her finger and ran out the front door of the business at 926 Diablo Ave., according to the Novato Police Department. The ring is valued at $7,500.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic or Asian female, about 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds. She has the word "love" tattooed across her left knuckles and fanned playing cards across the top of her left hand. She has the word "hate" tattooed across her right knuckles.
