70-Year-Old Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Marin Crash
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.
NOVATO, CA — A 70-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Saturday night, the Novato Police Department said.
Officers at around 6:50 p.m. responding to a report of a vehicle collision on Bolling Drive (near Marin Valley Drive) located a pedestrian who had apparently been struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Bolling Drive, police said.
“Personnel from the Novato Fire Protection District responded to the scene to render aid to the pedestrian resulting in immediate transport to a trauma facility,” police said. “Currently, the pedestrian is still being treated for major injuries sustained from the collision.”

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said.
It does not appear that alcohol and drugs were a factor in the collision, police said.

Bolling Drive was closed for approximately four hours while the collision scene was processed, police said.
