• Eight Bands, Two Days: Novato's Art, Wine & Music Festival Drops Its Full Lineup (patch.com) — Novato residents can look forward to a free two-day Art, Wine & Music Festival downtown June 13-14, featuring eight bands ranging from salsa to bluegrass and pop. The event also showcases local art, food, beer and wine, and organizers are actively seeking volunteers to help make the celebration run smoothly.    

• Prep baseball: Moseley pitches Redwood past Petaluma (marinij.com) — Novato’s baseball team nearly upset powerhouse De La Salle, falling 4-3 in a North Coast Section Division I quarterfinal that set up Redwood High’s semifinal trip to Concord. Redwood advanced by beating Petaluma 7-1 behind a dominant complete game from senior pitcher Jack Moseley, who allowed just two hits and retired 10 straight batters at one point.
