• Leslie's Pool Supplies bankruptcy: Which stores are closing (rollingout.com) — Leslie's Pool Supplies is closing its Novato store as part of a nationwide bankruptcy restructuring that shutters 76 locations, including eight in the Bay Area. While other Bay Area shops will stay open, Novato customers will need to shift their accounts and loyalty programs to nearby stores, as the chain cuts debt and aims to reemerge from Chapter 11 in 2027.
   

• Novato school to shrink amid declining enrollment (marinij.com) — Hamilton School families in Novato face a big change next fall as the district eliminates sixth through eighth grades and moves those students to San Jose Middle School to save about $700,000. Parents worry about losing their walkable, close‑knit campus and juggling transportation, while officials say the larger school offers more classes, activities, and a dual‑language program amid wider budget troubles.
