- Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteers are needed to work with children who are dependents of the court as a result of having been abused, neglected or abandoned. CASA Volunteers are sworn officers of the court, appointed by a judge to investigate and report on the best interests of children. Volunteers, who must be 21 years of age, undergo a thorough background and screening process and complete approximately 36 hours of initial training. This is a unique opportunity to work with dedicated professionals, and to help give children a powerful voice in court.
- Screening interviews are being held now in preparation for our upcoming training February 9, 2013.
