If you are seeking a summer experience rich in exploration, fun, culture and adventure for your child/ren, the Novato Youth Center (NYC) is the place to be.
Offering summer-time experiences for incoming 1st – 8th graders, with affordable rates and flexible schedules, the program is in its 30th year of ensuring a balance of action, enrichment and recreation over the summer months.
For 1st through 5th graders, It’s All Elementary Summer Camp offers weekly themes, field trips, gardening, cooking, guest speakers and the arts. For incoming 6th – 8th graders, all of this is offered in its 1 Up 4 College Summer Program, as well as leadership opportunities. Both programs include an academic component to prevent the “summer slide”, and fees include all healthy snacks & lunches, transportation and field trip fees, supplies and special projects. Camp Counselors are the Center’s year round teachers, and both programs are licensed by the state of California Department of Education. (lic. # 210105457)
