Businesses located in Marin County are required to file a 2013 Business Property Statement with the County Assessor for every business location within the county. Statements are due April 1 each year and late after Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Statements filed after May 7, 2013 are subject to a 10 percent penalty.
Businesses are not automatically mailed statements and electronic filing is strongly encouraged. Assistance for easy online filing is readily available by telephoning the Marin County Assessor at 415-473-7208 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
