Are you up for some late-night dining Monday evening? If you expect to arrive back in town late from a trip or meeting, there might be a table ready for you at dine & donate fundraiser for the Novato Theater at Muscio's Italian Restaurant.
The word has been circulated so well that the place is booked until at least 8:30 p.m., but there is still a spot for those coming after that, organizers said Friday.
The event is serving as the official grand opening of Muscio's, the former location of longtime local eatery Cacti Grill at 1200 Grant Ave. Muscio's owner, Michael Domer, said he will donate 50 percent of revenue that night to support the theater's Phase II makeover efforts. He said he is eager to see the theater at 924 Grant Ave. — closed since 1991 — revamped as a film/performing arts venue open year-round.

Theater volunteers are inviting the public to have a great dinner and thank Michael for supporting the renovation project. Dinner hours are 5-10 p.m. and reservations are recommended (dozens have already been made, so don't hesitate!). Call 898-2234 or go to opentable.com to make those plans.
Thanks for your support!
