A History-Inspired art workshop with emphasis on the “Marin County Native American Indians' History & Culture.”
Artists will learn about the Coast Miwok Native American Indians' history & culture and create art based on inspiration from the local museum’s artifacts.

Workshop includes tour of the museum, art supplies and an Artist’s Showcase at the end of the program. Other Local History & Cultures will be studied for continuing students. Advanced Art Students or minimum 1st year art experience recommended.

4 Hours - Weekly Workshops - Starts June 18, 2013 thru August 16, 2013
Session 1: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Session 2: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Session 3: Thursdays & Fridays -
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Session 4: Thursdays & Fridays - 2:00
p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $225.00 per weekly session
