Marin's Junior ROTC Awards Night
Marin's Junior ROTC program hosts another great annual awards night that awarded over $400,000 in educations benefits to exceptional cadets.
The Air Force Junior ROTC program at Novato High School held their Awards Night last Friday to commemorate the achievements of their exceptional cadets. Amazing sponsors and supporters awarded over 19 awards valued at over $400,000 worth of educational scholarships. Mr. Hiroshi Yamaguchi, Director of the JROTC, stated, "We are forever grateful to have a community of supporters that help young adults achieve their career dreams."
The night was planned by the cadet leaders as a part of their curriculum. The awards night included a presentation of colors, opening remarks, marching demonstrations, award presentations, and cadet promotions. Cadet Kris Shepardson was the event narrator and stated, "I have learned many key business skills in the JROTC program that will lead me to success in my future career."
