Novato’s Journey Ford Welcomes Back General Sales Manager

Glenn Ross is back behind the sales desk as Journey Ford's "new" General Sales Manager.

Long-time customers of Journey Ford (previously Novato Ford) will find a familiar face behind the sales desk – Petaluma resident Glenn Ross. Ross, who previously worked at the dealership for a total of 13 years, is back on the executive team, serving as General Sales Manager.

“Glenn’s goal for the dealership, to make a positive impact on as many people as possible, is completely in line with everything we stand for here at Journey Ford,” stated Ali Omoomy, Journey Ford’s owner and dealer principal. “We added a General Manager in January (Joseph Clementi), and now our administrative structure is complete."

Ross began his career in the automotive industry as a car detailer in high school, but cites his time with the 2nd armored division FWD in Desert Storm as a factor in his driven, objective-oriented personality. Ross is a combat veteran.

“To me, ‘Journey’ means a never-ending relationship with clients. You don’t just buy a car and disappear out our door forever,” stated Ross. “I came back to Journey Ford because the previous car dealership I was at was more concerned with profit than customer satisfaction and employee growth. That’s no way to foster both a good place to work and a good place to buy.”

In his position at Journey Ford, Ross is responsible for motivating the dealership’s fleet of product specialists, resolving conflicts, and helping guide best practice decisions alongside Omoomy and Clementi. His eight-year membership in the Professional Salesperson’s Association will serve him well in his endeavors. He welcomes old and new friends to stop by or get in touch.

When he’s not helping to change the public’s perception of the car-buying business, Ross enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Debbie, and their combined six children. He also enjoys boating and cycling around the North Bay area.
