There's never been a better time to try vegan! The second edition of the Marin County Vegan Chef Challenge returns to Marin in May. Participating local chefs are showcasing their creativity with delicious vegan dishes. Diners will have a month-long opportunity to explore unique menu items and rate dishes!
Here’s how to join the fun:
GO! You have one month, from May 1st to May 31st. Go to the Marin County Vegan Chef Challenge website to see the list of participating restaurants and their vegan offerings.

EAT! Try the inventive vegan dishes featured at participating restaurants throughout the area.
VOTE! Rate and review each menu to share your feedback with the chefs, then cast your vote for your favorites before the challenge ends!
Winning dishes will be announced in early June. The 2026 edition of the Marin Vegan Chef Challenge is sponsored by Vegan Distribution and Jinka and brought to you by Vegan Outreach and Vegan Marin (Facebook community). Feel great about what’s on your plate!
