On Sunday, June 28 from 11:15 - 12:15, join us for "Caring for Caregivers" at First Presbyterian Church of San Rafael, at 1510 5th Ave (at E St), which is handicap accessible. All are welcome.

Caregivers of family members give generously of themselves, but sometimes the needs of their loved ones outpace their time energy and resources, leaving them feeling overwhelmed, fatigued and uncertain where to turn when they need support for themselves.

How can we help the caregivers in our community?
How do we know what they need?
Where can we go to get detailed answers and specific resources?

For more than 40 years, the Family Caregiver Alliance (FCA) has provided services to family caregivers of adults with physical and cognitive impairments, such as Parkinson's, stroke, Alzheimer's and other types of dementia. Services include assessment, care planning, direct care skills, wellness programs, respite services, and legal/financial consultation vouchers. FCA is a longtine advocate for caregivers in the areas of policy, health and social system development, research, and public awareness on the state, national and international levels.
