Child Porn Suspect Arrested In North Bay: Police

Deputies say they arrested a man in Santa Rosa on Thursday in connection with a child porn case.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Deputies arrested a man in Santa Rosa on Thursday in connection with a child porn case.

James Russel Anderson, 61, was arrested March 30 on suspicion of possession of obscene matter involving minors, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies identified Anderson as a suspect engaged in downloading and sharing child pornography via the internet, according to the sheriff's office.

On Thursday, investigators served a search warrant at a residence on Delamere Avenue in Santa Rosa and seized a computer and phone as evidence.

Detectives located multiple child pornography images on the devices that belonged to Anderson, deputies said.

He was taken into custody without incident.
