The circus is coming to town this Memorial Day weekend!
American Crown Circus sets up on the grounds of St. Vincent's School for Boys in Marinwood, just south of Novato.
American Crown Circus is a family run, bilingual circus including acrobats, high-wire acts, clowns, and motorcycle heroics in the Globe of Death
(but no exotic animals).
The circus is the major fundraiser for the
Rotary Club of Novato Sunrise.
Drew McIntyre, past president Sunrise Rotary, said most of the members of the club as well as Boy Scouts and other Novato Youth are volunteering at the circus over the weekend and enjoy each other’s fellowship and camaraderie.
“It’s our biggest annual fundraiser,” he said. “The success of this circus is pivotal for us to have the funds we need for the following Rotary year for supporting the local and international projects like smoke alarm installation, our essay contest and our dictionary distribution project.”
Performances are on Friday, May 24 at 6:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday, May
25 and 26 at 1:30pm, 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm; and on Monday, May 27 at 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm.
Advanced Ticket Sales closed but tickets can still be purchased at the gate and good for any performances. Tickets: $16 for 13 years and up. Two children admitted free per paid adult ticket. Additional children's tickets are $5 each.
St. Vincent's is located off Highway 101 at the St. Vincent's /
Marinwood exit.
