Fire Crews Conduct Controlled Burn In Novato
The Marin County Fire Department is conducting a controlled burn Wednesday in Novato.

NOVATO, CA – See or smell smoke in Novato? Don't be alarmed. The Marin County Fire Department is conducting a controlled burn.
In an effort to create defensible space in the area, a controlled burn is scheduled on Burnt Ridge Fire Road off the end of Wilson Avenue starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to the department. All piles are expected to be extinguished and smoke free by 4 p.m.
