Coroner IDs BottleRock Worker, 36, Killed In Accident At Festival Site
The production worker from a Richmond events company died dismantling a tent Tuesday at the Napa concert venue.

NAPA, CA -- A worker killed in an accident while dismantling a tent at the BottleRock festival site in Napa on Tuesday has been identified as a 36-year-old Sonoma resident, a Napa County sheriff's captain said.
Mateo Zavaleta Zarate was killed when he was dismantling a large metal A-frame tent that was used as a VIP lounge area for the BottleRock festival, which ended Sunday at the Napa Valley Expo, sheriff's Capt. Steve Blower said.
Medical staff working there got word at about 5 p.m. that the A-frame had fallen on Zarate.

He was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later.
Zarate was working for Richmond-based party equipment rental company Top Productions.

The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health is investigating the accident, Blower said.
The three-day BottleRock festival featured performances by Stevie Wonder, Florence and the Machine and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
