On my Mind
Hope everyone has been staying cool in the hot weather over the past couple of days. We are nearing the end of August which means school is just about to start, the NFL just kicked off their pre-season, and since we are in an odd calendar year, it also means things are starting to heat up in the City Council race for this November.

As I previously wrote in my blog a few months ago, it has been an incredible honor and privilege to serve the community of Novato over the past four years on the City Council and I am excited to be running for re-election.

As the campaigning begins, I would be very interested to hear from you regarding the key issues that you think Novato is facing and would be more than glad to answer any questions you might have. As always, I am available to answer question here, on my Facebook page, over the phone, or in person and certainly hope to hear from you.

To get things started, what do you believe is the most important issue facing Novato over the next couple of years?

Nostalgia Days Roll Through Novato – It was a hot day for some hot rods on Grant Avenue this past weekend. Special thanks to Marvin Giambastiani for all the work he puts into this event year after year.

Copperfield‘s Bookstore is Coming to Downtown - 999 Grant Avenue is about to get a great ground floor tenant. I am sure more details will be coming out shortly, but you can read about it here.
