On my Mind
Well, it is election season so I would by lying if I didn’t say that campaigning and the upcoming city council race was on my mind. I have no intentions of using this blog as a platform to promote my own re-election, but will share a few things from the campaign trail over the next several weeks.

Currently there are 3 council seats in play with 8 candidates vying for those positions. Only 2 incumbents are running so there will be at least one new council member. It has been a busy season with endorsement meetings, signs going up, and more candidate forums on the horizon.

Novato Historical Guild Meeting & BBQ – The guild had an incredible turnout for their BBQ this past Saturday. The topic was Trains in Novato and Mike Pechner shared some incredible history through many of his own personal photos and Matt Stevens from SMART gave a future perspective. Pictures
