Crash Closes Marin County Highway

MARIN COUNTY, CA -- The Marin County Sheriff's Office this morning is reporting state Highway 1 is closed north of Stinson Beach due to a traffic collision.The collision occurred on the highway about two miles north of Stinson Beach.

The sheriff's office is reporting there is currently no access on state Highway 1 north of Stinson beach.

The collision could impact participants trying to access the Miwok 100k Trail Race this morning.

Anyone trying to get to the race should arrive from south of Stinson Beach, according to the sheriff's office.

The collision was first reported around 4 a.m.
