Delivery Driver Steals $10K In Items From Novato Home: Police
A delivery driver was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home in Novato and stealing thousands of dollars worth of belongings.

NOVATO, CA — A delivery driver was arrested last week after allegedly breaking into a home in Novato and stealing thousands of dollars worth of belongings.
The resident contacted police at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, after a home surveillance system detected someone inside the house. The resident provided a description of the man and a vehicle in the driveway.
When police arrived at the home, the suspect was still in the area. The man identified himself as Maurice Kimball, 27, of Brentwood, and said he was a delivery driver. After an investigation, Kimball was arrested for felony residential burglary.

More than $10,000 worth of items were stolen during the burglary, which have since been recovered, police said.
Although authorities did not say what company Kimball worked for, he was wearing a shirt with an Amazon logo in a photo released by police.
