Our collective purpose with the candidates and community members is to educate each other and make more informed voting decisions in Marin’s June 2014 primary and beyond.
Often it is difficult and time consuming for most voters and members of the community to easily explore a candidate’s background, get to know a candidate or have a discussion with any candidate for a given race, let alone several of the races that impact them personally. Candidates do not have the time to meet every voter face to face and can benefit from such an on-line forum. A series of one-on-one candidate conversations helps voters become more knowledgeable.
Our goal is to facilitate a process that will enable the election of the most qualified, dedicated and caring people. Hopefully these newly elected or reelected representatives will become effective government administrators that will govern our common resources fairly for the benefit of all individuals in our community.
