Hamilton School is rolling out the red carpet for its 9TH
annual “Have a Heart” Dinner and Auction on Saturday, March 2ND at 5:30pm at Unity in Marin in Novato. Tickets for the event are on sale now and can be purchased for the special “early bird” price of $70 through the end of January.
The dinner with live, silent and online auctions is Hamilton School’s largest fundraiser, raising more than $40,000 last year. All proceeds support classroom activities and enrichment programs at the school.
“The specter of dramatic state budget cuts may not hang over us as ominously as in past years, but with a growing student body, our needs continue to grow exponentially,” says Steve Hospodar, Hamilton School’s principal. “This
event is a fun and lively evening that is a wonderful way to support the school and have an immediate and lifelong impact on our school and our children.”

“Hamilton Goes Hollywood” for this year’s event with an evening of food fit for the stars and award winning wines; dancing to live music from the Hamiltones; a photo booth offering guests a complete “paparazzi experience”; and a bounty of auction items ranging from a ride to school on a fire truck to a week-long stay in Lake Tahoe and premier wine tastings and dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Marin. Donations, sponsorships and advertising from local businesses are still being accepted.
The evening will also see the Hamilton School Community Service Award presented to the Latina Moms Group for their extraordinary support and service to the school community. Past honorees include Marin Covenant Church and Marin County School Volunteers.

Located just inside the historic arches of Hamilton Field off Nave Drive, Hamilton School is a “No excuses K-8 college prep public school” where all students are challenged to
achieve their full academic potential. With nearly 800 students, Hamilton School is one of Novato’s largest schools, with classes ranging from pre-school through 8th grade.
