Marin County Open Space District rangers will host a campfire program on the slopes of Mount Burdell on Saturday, May 21 at 6:30 p.m. This is a family-friendly event. Rangers will tell stories, lead the group in song, reveal the ancient secrets of fire starting, and the art of making the perfect s‘more.
The one and a quarter mile hike to the event site will be moderate to moderately strenuous. Wear sturdy shoes and layered clothes. Bring water for everyone in your group. Participants with dogs must bring a leash and obey MCOSD regulations. Rain will cancel.
Directions: From Highway 101, take the Atherton Avenue/San Marin Drive exit west on San Marin Drive and turn right at San Andreas Drive. MCOSD gate is on the right.
