Bring your kids on a scavenger hunt for bugs! Ranger Don Grafe will explore the different micro-habitats of the lower reaches of Mount Burdell in search of insects. Bring the kids for a fun-filled morning to learn about these habitats and to identify the insects which live there. This adventure will be an introduction to the variety of bugs found within the Bay Area. The route begins with a moderate climb on uneven ground. Bring water and snacks. We request that no animals (except service animals) attend.

Meet at the gate on San Carlos Way in Novato. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take exit 463 for San Marin Dr west 2.1 miles. Turn right onto San Carlos Way and follow to end (dead end).
