Practicing Contemplation and Facing Paradox Could contemplation be described as an ability to hold and absorb seeming contradictions?  Is paradoxical thinking at the heart of faith? Fr. Richard Rohr thinks so, and will illustrate why and how.

Rohr is a Franciscan priest whose many books include The Naked Now: Learning to See as the Mystics See; Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life. His most recent book, Breathing Under Water: Spirituality and the Twelve Steps connects the Twelve Steps and the Gospel. With the advent of his 70^th birthday, Rohr has decided to stop traveling the world and begin presenting his concepts in the more eco-friendly Webcast format.
