Just as one must understand the alphabet to learn the english language, so every artist must gain skills in figure drawing to develop his or her craft. Students will be taught as a group and guided on an individual level through excersises to improve dexterity, eye/ hand coordination, the application of line and value, and building up a figure with basic shapes and gesture drawing, using a live model as subject.
