The Jewish holiday of Purim is the happiest day on the Jewish calendar. Purim marks the day our ancestors Mordechai, Esther and the Jewish people were saved from Haman's evil decree. For the past 2,500 years, it has been celebrated in the most jubilant fashion. Please join us on Sunday, February 24th 2013 at 4:30 PM at the Hamilton Community center 503 S Palm Drive, Novato, CA 94949 (click here for directions). A beautiful reading of the Megillah (the scriptual narrative) accomplanied by a state of the art slide show, describing the story in a fun, interactive and educational way. A full dinner will be served. A new adult game show is being arranged for the occasion. Boswick the clown, and holiday crafts will have the children loving every minute.Come dressed up in your favorite costume and receive a prize. A grand raffle will take place as well.
