Join ranger/photographer Craig Solin as we
explore the smaller unseen beauty at beautiful Stafford Lake Park. We will take
a short hike through the park focusing on nature’s various colors and shapes.
We’ll also head up the Terwilliger Trail to find interesting vantage points,
weather permitting. Stations with interesting subjects will be set up so we can
practice and perfect some of our macro techniques. This is a photo hike so
remember to bring a camera of some sort—a tripod is recommended as well. If we
hike the Terwilliger Trail it will be about a 1.5 mile, slightly strenuous
hike. Dress in layers, wear sturdy shoes (it
could be muddy or slippery), and bring water and snacks. Dogs are not permitted
at Stafford Lake Park. Rain will cancel the event. Questions: Contact Ranger Craig
Solin at (415) 473-2816 or CSolin@marincounty.org. Meet at the area 2 parking lot at Stafford Lake Park in
Novato (3549 Novato Blvd).
